17 Apr Dragon Products, LTD Opens New Pump Testing Facility
Oilfield equipment manufacturer continues to expand its customer focused solutions and services with a new pump testing facility in Odessa, TX.
Odessa, TX — Energy and industrial equipment manufacturer Dragon Products, LTD recently opened its new pump testing facility, located at the Dragon West Texas location at 2394 Catlin Street, Odessa.
Mike Whirley, General Manager of Dragon West Texas, says this facility will allow Dragon Products, LTD to service and test virtually every component of any frac unit-not just the frac units and pumps that Dragon manufactures. This sets Dragon’s testing facility apart from others.
“We are very excited to extend our services to include pump testing,” Whirley says. “We have the capability to test any pump that’s in the oilfield. Unlike our competitors, Dragon has the skilled technicians and equipment to test and service the entire frac unit.”
Dragon Products, which has more than 50 years of experience and employs some of the oil and gas industry’s most skilled pump technicians, will now be able to handle virtually every type of pump up to 2800HP and test pressure capacities up to 10,000 PSI.
The West Texas facility will offer a field service truck staffed by trained field technicians to respond to customers’ field troubleshooting calls 24/7. The Odessa location is also a manufacturing and sales location for surface production equipment, kill trucks, frac pumps, centrifugal pumps and other parts and expendables.
“Dragon doesn’t just service our own pumps, we service all pumps — which is a testament to the skill level of the technicians that Dragon selects,” Mike Whirley says. “Even if you’ve never purchased anything from Dragon before, we’ll be happy to test, repair or rebuild any of your frac equipment.”
Dragon Products, LTD is a U.S. owned and operated company that offers a wide range of quality, durable oilfield products for storage, hauling and more. Their equipment and inventory include rigs, tanks, trailers, containers, surface production equipment and more.
